Ross Gibson
Biography
Ross is responsible for overseeing Pitcher & Doyle’s day to day operations working directly with their network of National Brokers to profitably grow the Pitcher & Doyle book of business. Ross has over 20 years of experience in the Insurance Industry with 18 years specifically in Commercial Lines.
Ross began his insurance career as a broker, then ventured into commercial automobile underwriting learning to underwrite long haul trucking. He then moved to a multi-line Insurer where he remained for 10 years gaining valuable head office experience before moving into a corporate role at a National MGA where he learned the various functions including auditing, claims reviews, reinsurance, risk management, training and development.
Ross is a graduate of the University of Toronto where he obtained a Bachelor of Science. Ross currently has his CIP designation, has a Level 2 RIBO license and is licensed throughout the country.

Anna Son
Biography
Anna is responsible for leading, mentoring and developing the underwriting team at Pitcher & Doyle to strive for excellence through every interaction with our broker partners and other team members while growing the book of business profitably. The importance of creating a positive culture within a team and her ability to focus on an individual’s unique qualities allowing for professional growth in an inclusive manner is what distinguishes her from others.
Anna has been in the insurance industry for over 25 years of which the majority of her career has been in Commercial Insurance. She has held various underwriting positions ranging from Small Business, Mid-Market, Specialty Commercial, Global Property, Head Office as well as experience as a Commercial Underwriting Manager.
Anna holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from University of Toronto and is a Chartered Insurance Professional.

Cole Morrow
Biography
Cole is responsible for leading the Sales Team at Pitcher & Doyle driving profitable growth and business development of new and existing broker relationships. Cole has over 10 years of experience in the insurance industry, starting his career as a broker, moving to Account Manager and then an Account Executive role. Cole then shifted his focus to underwriting, specifically on the Dealership Insurance Program through Pitcher & Doyle, where he has been for the past 7 years.
He leads his team by providing technical expertise, mentorship, and training to peers and brokers to broaden their overall knowledge in the dealership segment. Cole holds a degree in Business Administration and Human Resources Management from Loyalist College and is working towards his Chartered Insurance Professional designation.

Shawn Bower

Biography
Shawn has over 20 years’ experience providing risk management consulting and works closely with our large commercial clients to create, adjust and fortify their risk management programs. Shawn’s key responsibilities are to assess potential risk situations and provide recommendations and resources to help improve our clients’ risk profiles.
He also facilitates training workshops on risk management issues, conducts risk control and loss prevention assessments on large commercial properties, construction projects, manufacturing sites, and provides in-depth audits and reports for our clients to ensure they are aware of and have access to expertise and resources to reduce their total cost of risk.

Darryl Dykes
Director Risk Services – Eastern Canada
Biography
Darryl has 18 years of experience in insurance related engineering and loss control services, including hold the positions of Risk Control Operations Manager for a Multinational insurer and Account Consultant/Senior Risk Consultant for several leading Canadian insurance companies.
Darryl has extensive experience working with clients while conducting risk and loss control inspections for all lines of business, specializing in highly protected risks, business interruption, and sprinkler protection analysis.
Darryl spent three years in the sprinkler protection design industry after receiving a diploma in Fire Protection Engineering Technology from Seneca College.
