Meet the team

Ross is responsible for overseeing Pitcher & Doyle’s day to day operations working directly with their network of National Brokers to profitably grow the Pitcher & Doyle book of business.   Ross has over 23 years of experience in the Insurance Industry with 20 years specifically in Commercial Lines.

Ross began his insurance career as a broker, then ventured into commercial automobile underwriting learning to underwrite long haul trucking. He then moved to a multi-line Insurer where he remained for 10 years gaining valuable head office experience before moving into a corporate role at a National MGA where he learned the various functions including auditing, claims reviews, reinsurance, risk management, training and development.  

Ross is a graduate of the University of Toronto where he obtained a Bachelor of Science.  Ross currently has his CIP designation, has a Level 2 RIBO license and is licensed throughout the country.

Cole is a seasoned leader in the insurance industry with over 14 years of experience, currently leading the Sales and Underwriting Team at Pitcher & Doyle. Known for his strategic approach and results-driven mindset, Cole has a proven track record of driving profitable growth and strengthening market presence through effective broker partnerships. He excels in both cultivating new business and deepening existing relationships, consistently delivering value through his deep industry insight and leadership acumen.

Beginning his career as a broker, Cole transitioned through roles as an Account Manager and Account Executive before shifting his focus to underwriting. For the past 12 years, he has specialized in the Dealership Insurance Program at Pitcher & Doyle, where he has developed deep expertise in this niche segment. His well-rounded background across broking, account management, and underwriting gives him a unique perspective that continues to benefit both the company and its clients.

As a leader, Cole is committed to providing his team with technical guidance, mentorship, and comprehensive training, ensuring that both peers and brokers expand their knowledge and expertise in the dealership insurance sector. He holds a degree in Business Administration and Human Resources Management from Loyalist College and has earned his Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation.

Iman is an accomplished underwriting professional and educator, currently leading a segment of the Underwriting Team at Pitcher & Doyle. In her role, she drives business retention and supports profitable growth by fostering both new and existing broker relationships. Iman combines her technical expertise with a passion for mentoring, managing team performance, and driving process enhancements. She is particularly skilled in managing multi-line portfolios, cultivating strong broker partnerships, and ensuring sustainable growth and profitability through effective underwriting practices.

With over eight years of experience in the insurance industry, Iman has held various underwriting positions at reputable insurance companies, where she specialized in commercial Property & Casualty (P&C) and Auto. She has also served as a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) Instructor at the Insurance Institute of Canada, where she shared her extensive industry knowledge by leading virtual courses on topics such as liability coverage.

Iman holds several industry certifications, including the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) and Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designations. She also earned a bachelor’s degree in English literature.

Deb is an accomplished leader with over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry. As the head of the Sales Team at Pitcher & Doyle, she is responsible for driving national growth through strategic partnerships with brokers. In addition to her sales leadership role, Deb plays a pivotal part in supporting underwriting operations, providing mentorship, and facilitating training for junior team members to promote professional development and operational excellence.

A graduate of Loyalist College with distinction on the Dean’s List for Police Foundations, Deb later pursued an accounting certificate before discovering her passion for underwriting. She holds both the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) and Canadian Risk Management (CRM) certifications. With extensive technical knowledge in Property and Casualty insurance, as well as expertise in Commercial Auto IRCA, Fleet, and Garage underwriting, Deb is a seasoned professional dedicated to delivering exceptional results and fostering growth within her team and organization.
